About these terms
These Terms of Service apply to the Unfaced Studios online store and purchases from it. “We”, “us” and “our” mean Unfaced Studios. Read these terms together with our Return and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Privacy matters are governed by the Privacy Policy. Mandatory law prevails over any conflicting term.
Eligibility and account security
To place an order, you must have legal capacity to enter the transaction or act with the permission of a parent or legal guardian as permitted by law. Provide accurate contact, delivery and payment information and use only payment methods you are authorised to use. Keep account credentials secure and notify us of suspected unauthorised use.
Products and availability
We aim to describe products, materials, sizes and colours accurately. Screen settings may affect colour appearance, and measurements may have stated manufacturing tolerances. These points do not excuse materially inaccurate descriptions or defects. Review the size guide and product details before ordering. Stock and availability may change.
Prices, payment and order acceptance
The currency, item price, discounts, shipping and applicable taxes are displayed before payment. The total accepted at checkout applies to your order. Later price changes do not change an accepted order. Your order receipt acknowledges your submission. We may decline or cancel an order for a genuine stock problem, payment failure, suspected fraud or an obvious pricing error, subject to applicable law. We will notify you and refund amounts collected for goods we cannot supply. We will not substitute an item or charge a higher price without your agreement.
Order cancellations and changes: 20 minutes
You may cancel your order by emailing mpachecosenda@gmail.com within 20 minutes of placing it. Include your order number and use the subject “Cancel order”. The time your email is sent determines whether your request is within the window; you do not need to wait for our reply. An eligible cancellation receives a full refund to the original payment method.
After 20 minutes, we do not accept voluntary cancellations, because orders may enter processing or production. Address, size or colour changes requested within 20 minutes are subject to confirmation; if we cannot make the requested change, you may cancel within that window. After the window, changes cannot be guaranteed. This restriction does not affect statutory withdrawal or cancellation rights, or remedies for our failure to fulfil your order.
Delivery, returns and legal warranties
Delivery arrangements are described in the Shipping Policy. Eligible voluntary returns must be requested within 14 calendar days after delivery under the Return and Refund Policy. Mandatory rights for faulty, misdescribed or undelivered goods, including applicable Quebec legal warranties, remain available independently of our voluntary return policy.
Acceptable use
Do not use the store unlawfully, submit fraudulent orders, infringe others' rights, distribute malware, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with checkout or security, or harvest personal information. We may restrict access reasonably necessary to address misuse, subject to law and existing paid-order obligations.
Intellectual property and submissions
Store designs, original text, artwork, branding and other protected content belong to their respective rights holders. Browsing or buying an item does not transfer intellectual property rights. You may use the store for personal shopping and lawful purposes. If you submit a review or other content, you must have the right to share it. You retain ownership and grant us a non-exclusive permission to display and reproduce that submission for the purpose for which it was provided, subject to privacy law and any agreed restrictions. Do not submit confidential information in public reviews.
Third-party services
Shopify hosts the store. Payment, carrier and other third-party services may have their own terms and privacy notices. Links to external sites do not guarantee their content or practices. Using third-party services does not remove our responsibilities to you as the seller.
Service availability and responsibility
We take reasonable care with the store but cannot promise uninterrupted access or that every technical error will be prevented. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable. No term excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable legal warranties, fraud, intentional or gross fault, or injury where exclusion is prohibited. Nothing requires a consumer to waive statutory remedies, indemnify us for our own fault, or accept a mandatory arbitration clause.
Disputes and applicable law
Contact us first so we can try to resolve an issue. These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, subject to mandatory consumer protections and any rights to bring a claim in your home jurisdiction. Nothing prevents a lawful complaint to a regulator or a claim before a competent court.
Changes and severability
Updates apply prospectively from the date posted. The terms in effect when your order was placed govern that order unless you agree otherwise or law requires a change. We will provide any notice or consent required by law. If a term is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
